SILK

             Silk was written by Alessandro  Baricco and it came from Italy. The excerpt pondered upon the exploration of Joncour ( main character ) in Japan where silkworm is bounty.

            There was a time when Japan was closed off from the world and it lasted for 200 years. They did this because they mistrusted the foreign traders.

            In this excerpt, Joncour who is a trader able to enter the country despite of risks he might get upon entering this country. And there, Hara Kei whose wife seems to like Joncour in first sight as well as Joncour felt. And then Hara Kei and Joncour had a long conversation and sometimes the woman of Hara Kei, glares at Joncour secretly as well as Joncour. In that moment both of them felt intimate towards each other. No words had uttered but all were actions.

                  My reaction about this excerpt was I salute Joncour's brave spirit and strong determination to get what he really want---silk. Though its too hard to enter the able to do it. But temptation is really hard to controlled. And I salute Joncour to do a great thing---left Japan after he gets what he aims. She
