A Low Art
( Reflection )
A Low Art which was written by Margaret Atwood. This excerpt came from Canada. This excerpt revolves around the perception of Penelope who is also the wife of Odysseus. It teaches people not to believe quickly on hersays only without knowing the other side of the story. It's maybe bum to be faithful to your husband despite of his betrayal to you yet, Penelope never leave his husband's side in the name of their marriage. The "A low Art" tries to provoke how martyr Penolope was though her husband commits mistake she never spit any harsh words to ruin the dignity and name of his husband. Even if Penelope was in deep pain for what his husband done to her she continue to keep in silence which become the greatest enemy of truth.
Despite of everything, Penelope pretended to be blinded with the truth because she do love his husband to the point that she's willing to be fooled all the time and be marytr.
The lesson I've got from this excerpt was love can make people blind. Despite of imperfections and mistakes of your partner you still accept him/her because you love that person. We can't blame these people who becomes marytr because of love. Because love can be a poison that kills or magic that makes you amaze or even a tasty food which is mouth watering. Lol!
